Biography

Josh graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C with a degree in Government. He then proceeded to obtain his law degree from the University of Missouri. During his time in law school, he was an Editor of the Missouri Environmental Law & Policy Review.

Before joining The McDaniel Law Firm, Josh served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, where he handled felony criminal appeals and argued cases before multiple districts of the Missouri Courts of Appeals and the Missouri Supreme Court. He later worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Missouri, gaining extensive experience handling serious criminal cases including major drug offenses, murders, DUIs, and sex crimes.

Josh also served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office. During his time there, he worked in both the Special Prosecution Unit and the Special Victims Unit (SVU), prosecuting complex and high-stakes cases involving homicide, child sex crimes, rape, aggravated rape, and child abuse. His experience in these units provided him with a deep understanding of how prosecutors build cases and how those cases can be challenged in court.

Today, Josh uses that experience to defend individuals facing serious criminal charges. At The McDaniel Law Firm, he is committed to helping clients understand their rights, navigate the legal system, and build a strong defense when their future is on the line.
